Gym
Horizon Academy students participate in approximately 1 ½ hours of Physical Education (PE) everyday. Horizon Academy’s gym is used for half of each students PE time while the other half of students PE time is spent out side in the various courtyards. Students participate in basketball, volleyball, pickle ball, 4-square, dodge ball, Frisbee, and various other sports.
Boxing Club
Horizon Academy Students may participate in supervised boxing classes by program director Jade Robinson. Students learn the basics about boxing form and technique while undergoing vigorous conditioning.
Cafeteria
Horizon Academy Students eat three well balanced meals a day in the cafeteria in addition to a healthy piece of fruit before bedtime. Students also learn responsibility as they advance in the program by working in the lunch room serving and cleaning supporting the concept that the best way to learn to be responsible is to have responsibility.
Classroom I
Horizon Academy Students use a state of the art computer curriculum that allows students to work on an individual pace. Many Horizon Academy students find that they can work at an accelerated rate because of the nature of the self paced progressive individual curriculum. Horizon Academy is a fully accredited school. Students have gone on to further their education at universities and community colleges all around the United States after attending Horizon Academy.

Courtyards
Horizon Academy students utilize two large courtyards for half of their PE time each day. Students also use the spacious courtyard for leisure time, breaks from school, and a 30 minute fitness break during the day.
4 Square Court
Horizon Academy students enjoy playing 4 square, handball, and relaxing during leisure time in the courtyard.
Dorms
Horizon Academy dorm rooms are clean and spacious. Dorm rooms have a maximum of 4 students per room with youth leaders in each room to mentor and assist struggling students. Each Dorm room is equipped with its own private bathroom and shower. Dorm rooms are supervised 24 hours a day 365 days of the year. The dorm structure provides safety, structure, privacy, and security to students around the clock.
Leisure Room
Horizon Academy students can use leisure time to play games and relax at set times in the day.
Library
Horizon Academy students go to the library once a week to check out, renew, or return books. Horizon Academy schedules time into the day so that all students have time each day to practice and enjoy reading. Many students who come to Horizon Academy with a lack of interest in reading leave with a passion for reading.
Pickle Ball Court
Horizon Academy students love to participate in a fun and lively game called pickle ball. Pickle ball is a game that is similar to tennis but using a different style ball creates an interesting and fun game students love to play
Review Meeting Room and Video Room
Horizon Academy students attend a one hour meeting each day called Review. Students have the opportunity to receive feedback from their peers and staff to help them stay grounded as well as see the areas that need to be improved to progress in the program. Students also use these spacious rooms to watch and education dvd each day about various topics you would find one hour specials on A&E, History Channel, National Geographic and various others.
Seminar Room
Upon enrollment students begin a serious of emotional growth seminars. The seminars are designed to help students look internally and get to the root of many of the problems that lead to the problems that showed up at home before enrollment. Most teens share that the seminars are one of the biggest keys to letting go of their emotional baggage and learning how to focus and strive for their dreams.
Horizon Academy Softball Field
Horizon Academy has a softball field used for intramural softball other activities.
Weight Room
Horizon Academy students who show leadership and progress in their program earn the privilege of lift weights every day.
Parent Child Seminar Picnic Site
Horizon Academy uses a beautiful property for a tranquil and peaceful area for teens and parents.
Parents and Teens have a regular picnic on the property through out the year. Horizon Academy also uses the Pond House are
a for activities for the teens as well.
Pond House Activity Area
Horizon Academy uses this beautiful and tranquil property for student activities through out the month as well as parent-student picnic regularly throughout the year.
Ranch Facility
Horizon Academy provides a ranch/equine program for students who may need some experience learning good work ethic and can benefit from interaction with horses. Working with horses teaches self-discipline and relationship skills in a way that no other therapy can.
